2nd graders wrapped up their reindeer unit by visiting the Sawtooth Reindeer in Carey. This is the 3rd annual trip for Syringa 2nd graders! We are thankful we get welcomed back each year! Students learn all about reindeer and write an informational report to present to their peers at Syringa. On this trip students got to feed reindeer oats and moss, see the transformation of antlers over the years, feel what a reindeer coat is like, and got their own souvenir of velvet that had been shed.
