Animal Profile Series - mixed media on canvas This is my completed Animal Profile Series. I created these pieces using monoprints that I made from a Gelli Plate, rice paper, and acrylic paint. I used Matte Super Heavy Gel to attach the animals to the canvas. I created shadows using a Derwent Sketching Light Wash HB pencil, smudging it with my fingers. On a few of the pieces I added highlights with a white paint marker. I then applied a coat of varnish to complete these final pieces. #artistsofti
