Scottish Power Pipe Band, led by Pipe Major Christopher Armstrong BEM, march in starting their Grade 1 bands medley final at the 2025 European Pipe Band Championships. St Laurence O' Toole Pipe Band (Eire) led by Pipe Major Alen Tully, march in for the their Grade 1 bands medley competition final at the 2025 European Pipe Band Championships. These were held in the City of Perth, Scotland, on Saturday 9th August 2025. The combined Pipe Bands as they marched around the arena for the Chieftain's Parade, during the 2025 Perth Highland Games. These were held on Sunday 13th July 2025 at North Inch in Perth, and the guest Chieftain was Scotland's most decorated track & field athlete, Eilidh Doyle, following the bands here with Provost Xander McDade. The massed pipe bands playing Highland Laddie outside Inverurie Town Hall in salute to the Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire, Sandy Manson. This marked the end of the 2025 Garioch Pipe Band Championship, held at Kellands Park in Inverurie. Scotland the Brave as Drum Majors lead the massed pipe bands along the river Tay past Perth City centre. This was back in 2020 during the Robert Burns Celebrations at the beginning of the year. The leading Drum Major was Kenny Forbes with the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band at this time, and the other bands present were RAF Central Scotland Pipes and Drums, Perth & District Pipe Band, Alyth Pipe Band, Glenrothes & District Pipe Band, plus Broughty Ferry & Monifieth Boys Brigade Band. #perth #perthshire
