Our officers, along with the USCG and the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a downed single-engine Cessna Skyhawk near the St. Lucie–Indian River County line. Three people were onboard. Two were spotted in the water by an Indian River County Sheriff’s Office helicopter and rescued by FWC officers. The third was recovered shortly after by the USCG. Thanks to quick coordination with Indian River Fire Rescue, all three were transported to USCG Station Fort Pierce and are in stable
